is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that provides educational programs, family leadership opportunities, and enrichment activities for Latino children and their families. Their programs support early learning, academic success, and leadership development from early childhood through young adulthood.

Offers support groups, summer camps, respite care, and programs for individuals with autism and their families in Georgia

Project GRANDD (Grandparents Raising and Nurturing Dependents with Disabilities)
Project GRANDD is an Atlanta-based program that supports grandparents and other relatives who are raising children with disabilities or developmental challenges. The program offers support groups, case management, education, and referrals to help caregivers access services and provide stable, supportive homes for the children in their care.

Georgia Autism Hub
A statewide resource website that helps families of young autistic children find reliable information, local services, and connections to providers, educators, and support organizations across Georgia.
Support Groups and Mental Health Resources

Offers parent-led support groups that meet regularly to provide community, support, and resources to parents and primary caregivers of children with disabilities

Free, peer-led groups offering emotional support and connection for caregivers of individuals with mental health conditions. A space to share experiences and coping strategies in a judgment-free environment.

Connect with other families navigating autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through support groups that offer encouragement, insights, and information on community resources. These groups may also host social events and educational presentations for parents and children.
Learning About Autism & Family Perspectives

The film is based on the stories of six Black families, as well as experts in the field, on the unique struggles of navigating autism in a structurally unequal society and determination for equal access.

The Emory Autism Center provides comprehensive autism evaluations, behavioral services, counseling, and support programs for individuals across the lifespan.

Marcus Autism Center (Autism Assessment & Diagnostics
Marcus Autism Center provides comprehensive evaluations for children who may show signs of autism. A multidisciplinary team works with families to understand a child’s development and provide recommendations for next steps and supportive services.
Play-Based Learning & Development

Lekotek of Georgia
Lekotek provides play-based programs and adapted toys for children with disabilities and developmental differences. Through guided play sessions, technology activities, and family events, Lekotek helps children build developmental skills while supporting families and encouraging inclusive play

Friendship Formulas
Friendship Formulas offers social skills classes, parent coaching, and consultation services designed to support children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory differences, and other developmental needs. Their programs focus on helping children build communication skills, emotional regulation, cooperation, and positive peer relationships through structured activities and guided practice.

Autism Branches
Autism Branches is an Atlanta nonprofit that provides inclusive programs, sensory-friendly events, and camps for children on the autism spectrum. The organization connects families with community resources while creating opportunities for children to build social skills and participate in supportive activities with peers.
Summer & Recreational Opportunities

Autism Improvised
Autism Improvised is a nonprofit that offers improv-based classes designed to help individuals on the autism spectrum build social communication, confidence, and connection with peers. Through structured improv games, role-play, and group activities, participants practice recognizing social cues, flexible thinking, and real-life communication skills in a supportive and fun environment.

Art It Out Therapy Center
A therapy center offering counseling, social skills groups, and creative art-based therapy to help children and teens build coping skills, emotional regulation, and confidence.

Superheroes Club – Awaken Education
Superheroes Club is an inclusive social-skills adventure program that brings children of all abilities together to build confidence, teamwork, and social-emotional skills. Through games, outdoor exploration, and collaborative activities, children practice communication, problem-solving, and friendship skills while celebrating their individual strengths and differences

Camp You Be You (Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta)
Camp You Be You is a week-long summer sleepaway camp for children and teens with autism ages 8–18. Held at Camp Twin Lakes in Georgia, the program allows campers to participate in traditional camp activities such as swimming, archery, climbing, and arts while building friendships and confidence in a supportive environment with trained staff and medical professionals.

ASD Angel Fish Program – Just Us Swim Kids
The ASD Angel Fish program offers adaptive swim lessons designed for children with autism and other special needs. Instructors trained to work with neurodivergent children use swimming to build water safety skills, confidence, and physical strength while helping reduce anxiety and support social engagement. The program focuses on teaching life-saving skills so children can stay safer around water.
